Experience the drama, passion and excitement as a cast of phenomenally talented actors and musicians come to the White Rock Theatre from Tuesday (April 22) to Saturday, April 26 to tell Buddy Holly’s story, from his meteoric rise to fame, to his final legendary performance at The Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa.

Glen Joseph will be playing Buddy. He was born and raised in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, before training at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating with First Class Honours.

Glen made his West End debut as Buddy in The Buddy Holly Story as well as playing Buddy on two UK tours, in Germany, and at the 50th Anniversary concert on February 3, 2009, 50 years to the day that Buddy lost his life.

Theatre credits include Eric and Dance Captain in Dreamboats and Petticoats, Curly in Rogers’ and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, the European Premiere of Disney’s The Jungle Book and Chuck in Footloose!.

Film Credits include Goal 3: Taking on the World.

Glen has also worked as a musician, playing guitar, keyboards and drums with Buddy Holly and The Cricketers (UK Tour) and playing drums on Is There Life After High School?

Featuring two hours of the greatest songs ever written, including That’ll be the Day, Oh Boy, Rave On, La Bamba, Johnny B. Goode, Shout and many, many more, this upcoming show at the White Rock is just Peggy Sue-perb!
