Two nights to catch Raye and Co
Veteran drummer Raye Du Val, from Haywards Heath, plays with the Checkmates at Hassocks British Legion on October 18 at 8pm.
He is also at the King Edward Hall, Lindfield on October 19 from 8pm.
The Checkmates, with Emile Ford, scored a notable 1959-60 number 1 with “What Do You Want to Make Those Eyes at Me For?”
