Based in Broadlands Business Park in Langhurstwood Road, it has provided mission-critical communications solutions to organisations as diverse as Transport for London, the Bank of England, British Airways, Carlsberg, Bank of America, and Weetabix.

The new CIC aims to simulate a client’s business environment to help them better understand their own needs.

Mr Maude said: “It’s great because it’s cutting edge technology and is really good to see Horsham at the forefront, but also what they are doing with apprentices is fabulous.

“Apprentices have been slightly ignored in recent years and as a government we have put a lot of emphasis on apprenticeships.”

He added: “This is not run of the mill, this is highly innovative, top of the range technology and solutions being provided on an international basis, so it’s very exciting.”

Damovo has employed 21 through its apprenticeship programme since 2009, which has seen it named in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers by the National Apprenticeship Service in the past two years.
