VIDEO: Hastings’ actors about to take on The Wild Yonder

Local actor Laurie Brook Summers has been making a name for himself on stages up and down the South East Coast for the past two years, delivering show stealing interpretations of flawed sympathetic often boisterous characters such as Major Claude Courtney in the Stables Theatre’s production of’ ‘The Lady Killers’, a young and original King Henry VIII in Anne Boleyn and Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night.

The film is to be a lyrical exploration pitting man against the wilds, the extremes of physical and mental survival and their own individual flaws.

The project is an independent production supported by crowd funding on Indy GoGo, where anyone who would like to contribute and see a unique project realised can be part of the adventure, along with exclusive access to behind the scenes footage, stills and video diaries.

The film’s exclusive sponsor, Highlander Outdoor, are supplying the cast and crew with their own line of camping equipment and hike-wear, that will feature in the film and keep the crew protected from the elements.
