Zane Fitgerald, 26, and Ben Davie, 23, donned nothing but red shorts, red noses, a hat and shoes as a way of fundrasing for Comic Relief.

“We’re doing this off the cuff, we had a free afternoon so we thought we would do it,” explained Ben.

“We’ve been here about half an hour and I think we’ve got about £40 or £50 maybe more from these generous people.”

The pair were in the Carfax with a collection basket asking people to donate while jogging around to stay warm.

“We’ve raised money for charity before doing marathons but nothing random like this,” added Zane.

“We’re freezing, I’ve never been this cold in my life but the people of Horsham are so kind!”

The Crawley lads came to Horsham in the hope no one they knew would see them.

Zane added: “We thought we’d come here so no one recognised us but we might plan to come back tomorrow, we’ll see how it goes.

“We just want people to donate as much as they can and laugh at us at the same time.”
