WELLBEING: Event in East Preston
EAST Preston charity Patient Link celebrates its 20th anniversary with a free Health and Wellbeing event at the Village Hall, East Preston, on Saturday, November 20 from 2-4.30pm.
As well as organising transport to appointments at the village’s Willow Green Surgery, and hospital appointments across the area, Patient Link hosts health education talks, and hard-working volunteers raise hundreds of pounds each year to fund extra equipment for patients.
The fair, supported by NHS West Sussex, includes free tea or coffee and birthday cake, demonstrations, a variety of stalls from charities and organisations and a grand raffle with a £200 top prize.
Diabetic support group dizzy, information hub ICIS, health testing charity the Mary How Trust and PCT health trainers will be among groups taking part.
