Access is via a narrow lane which heads southwards from the A27 about 300 metres on the eastern side of the Barley Mow pub at Selmeston. (GR 123/TQ 494050) Berwick, Alciston and the East Downs walk. Bo-peep Bostal – South Downs Way – Long Burgh – France Bottom – Camp Hill – Five Lord’s Burgh – Bo-peep Bostal. 8¼ miles. Please bring a picnic lunch. Saturday April 19, 10am: Meet at Rottingdean cliff-top car park (charge) 150 yards east of traffic lights on A259. (GR 122/TQ 37021) Rottingdean and Telscombe walk. Rottingdean – Bazehill Road – Balsdean Valley – Pickers Hill – Telscombe Village – Telscombe Tye – Saltdean – Undercliff Walk – Rottingdean. 8 miles. Please bring a picnic lunch. Tuesday April 22, 11.15am: Meet at Oxshott Heath Railway Station, KT22 0TA. (GR TQ 141609) Oxshott Heath walk. Oxshott Heath – Esher Common – West End Common. 8 miles figure of eight walk. Pub lunch if required at the Prince of Wales, West End or picnic by the village pond. If driving, there is a free car park just off the A244 after Oxshott station, should be about 45 minute drive from Haywards Heath. (Explorer map: 135/TQ 384340) Walk via Sussex Border Path, Weir Wood Reservoir, Brambletye House, South Park Farm. 6½ miles mainly level. Note: Standen House NT (Arts and Crafts) is nearby and could be visited in the morning.

Sunday April 20, 10.30am: Meet in the small car park at the side of the Magistrates Court in Mark Cross almost opposite the Mark Cross Inn. (Explorer map: 135/TQ 582312) Walk via Mark Cross, Stone House Farm, Little Danegate, Earlye Farm, Best Beech Hill (L), Towngate Farm, Lake Farm, Mark Cross. 12 miles over varied ground. Note: Longer morning than afternoon.
