HANGLETON FARM: Charity horse show. Hangleton Farm Equestrian Centre. Showjumping, in-hand ridden showing with championships, fun classes, face painting, ice creams, stalls, bouncy castles and lots of fun for the whole family. The money raised all goes to the Chestnut Tree House.

SOUTHWATER Horticultural Society: Rose and Sweet Pea Show takes place in Southwater Village Hall, Church Lane, at 7.30pm. While the judging of entries takes place, Audrey Broad and Jenny Ansell, no strangers to the show bench, will be offering you the benefit of their expertise on Showing Cookery and Preserves. You are invited to bring along an item of cookery or a jar of jam or other preserve; Audrey and Jenny will then assess them for you and give you helpful tips and advice.
