Winning guitarist will visit Lyminster church

Sean Shibe won the gold medal at last year’s Royal Over-Seas League’s music competition.

He will perform at St Mary Magdalene Church, in Church Lane, Lyminster, on Saturday, May 26.

The league has a worldwide reputation for its support of young and up-and-coming artists, craftsmen, writers and musicians.

Sean has already played at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, at London’s South Bank Centre, to claim his prize.

His performance at St Mary Magdalene will begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets, price £8.50, include a glass of wine and should be purchased in advance.
