Young pianist set to perform sublime Shostakovich piece in Horsham

The Horsham Symphony Orchestra, under principal conductor Steve Dummer and co-leader Barry Sutton, welcome Julian Trevelyan, BBC Young Musician Piano Finalist in 2014 and 2016, as concerto soloist at their summer concert.

The event takes place at The Capitol on Saturday, June 25.

Spokeswoman Fiona Corbett-Clark said: “Julian will be performing Shostakovich’s sublime 2nd Piano Concerto with the orchestra.

“This treat of a concert also features Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3 and Mahler’s mighty First Symphony.”

The concert starts at 7.30pm.

The last remaining tickets, priced at £14 (£12 for people over 60 and £5 for under 18s), are available from the Capitol box office on 01403 750220.
