LITTER PICK: Arlington Litter Pick tomorrow, Saturday, 10am to 12.30pm. As the cycle of seasons moves into a new spring, it’s that time of the year again when we emerge from hibernation for the Arlington Litter Pick, which also acts as a timely prelude to the Arlington Bluebell Walk. As previously, we’ll meet in the village hall at 10am tomorrow, Saturday, to collect litter pickers, bags, hi-vis vests etc, and divide into groups to cover the lanes from Berwick Crossroads to Arlington Road West. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available from 9.30am. This will be our eighth Litter Pick since this community enterprise started in the spring of 2016 and on each occasion a significant amount of rubbish/litter has been collected, never less than 50 bags and on some occasions as many as 100, so I doubt we’ll be disappointed on this occasion. In anticipation of a good turnout for this fun, sociable and worthwhile service to the community as a whole, thank you.
