Annual spin up in a brewery for charity

A Partridge Green beer company will be the venue for a ‘spin up in a brewery’ where cyclists invade the company’s premises for one day in May.

The annual event, starting at 1pm on May 25, will raise money for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society charity, and will see visitors enjoy roller racing, a barbecue, and of course, beer.

Since last year was a sell out, this year organisers have increased capacity, and are aiming to wow crowds with prizes worth over £2,000, award-winning food, street art, and live music.

Entertainment includes music from Gizzly and the Grasshoppers, barbecue from three-times UK barbecue champion and world barbecue finalist Andy Annat, as well as street art by SNUB, bike drums and roller racing for kids.

Morvélo Bicycle Apparel will be showing off their latest range and will be offering an exclusive 20 per cent discount to everyone.

Throughout the day roller racing will be held for riders of any age and ability to have a go, with the final eight racing head to head in an eliminator until one person triumphs.

Dark Star Brewery, based in Star Road, Partridge Green, raises money for charities through its foundation by selling certain product lines, a range of t-shirts, and a string of fundraising events held throughout the year.
