Bognor post office to reopen four months after closure

A Bognor Regis post office, which has been unable to serve customers since November, is to remain closed for one more month.

Westmeads Post Office closed in November last year due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’, according to a Post Office spokesman.

A new postmaster will operate the branch in the same location at 10 The Precinct, Bognor Regis.

A spokesperson said: “Westmeads Post Office is due to reopen at the previous location on Friday, March 27 at 1pm to restore post offfice service to the area.

“The opening times will be Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.”

The same products and services as before will be available, the spokesperson confirmed.

Graham Brander, Post Office change manager, said: “I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that customers will continue to use the branch.”
