The company's mission is to help people put down their digital devices and spend quality time together with family friendly games.

Hazel said: “Our lives are now increasingly reliant on screens, and there’s no getting away from that, but that makes it even more important to carve out some time away from those devices to make meaningful connections with your family."

Gamely Games was born from Hazel’s desire to connect with her much younger sister. After realising the power that games have to bring people of all ages together, Hazel developed her own game, Randomise.

Looking for a new career when she became pregnant with her first child, Hazel made the decision to take Randomise out into the world. It became a huge success, far beyond her initial hopes, and the company has gone on to develop two further games – Soundiculous and The Pretender – and employs four members of staff.

Now Gamely Games is looking for investment from the dragons to take the business to the next level.

To find out how Hazel got on, watch BBC Two at 8pm on Sunday, December 23.
