Established over 40 years ago, FSB are a non-profit making organisation that is run by members for members. Pulling on the support of a powerful Westminster Unit, we have an influential dialogue with every level of Government. FSB campaigns on issues such as business rate reform, easier access to finance, ensuring the work readiness of young people, faster broadband speeds and improving road and rail networks.

Rother District Council & Active Rother

Rother District Council is responsible for delivering a wide range of services to a population of circa 92,000 residents, including: housing policy and services; spatial planning; development consents and building regulations; environmental and public health; food safety; pollution control; licensing; waste and recycling collection; street and beach cleaning; car parks and public conveniences; benefits payments; culture, leisure and recreation; economic development & tourism; community safety and emergency planning.

We will continue to drive through our vision for improvements to the quality of life in Rother whilst adapting to changing circumstances and pressures.

We will continue to build on an impressive regeneration programme that has seen significant investment in the local area, with the advent of the Bexhill-Hastings Link Road enabling significant growth in housing and jobs; major improvements to our public spaces, cultural and leisure facilities; and continuing support for tourism promotion and events. In addition, through our Active Rother projects we will continue to encourage healthier, more active lifestyles by supporting and promoting a wide range of organisations, events and activities.
