Cafe celebrates fifth birthday with local produce

SUSSEX wines and cheeses took centre stage at an event to celebrate the fifth anniversary of a Horsham eatery.

The Little Black Olive Cafe in Bishopric supports local produce, selling Sussex meats, cheeses, chutneys and handmade artisan breads.

The cafe has put up a map of Sussex on the wall to show customers just what a short distance some of the products have travelled to end up on their plates.

Owner Nicola Halliday said: “We have been using meats from Sussex for a few years now, and thought that the Horsham Food Festival was the ideal time for us to further extend our local range.”
