Burger King also closed its Carfax branch some years ago.

Darren Mawbey said: “I really miss the old Horsham McDonald’s.

“It was great being able to have a coffee upstairs whilst letting the kids have a bit of fun in that large play area.

“I was so shocked when I heard it was closing... It’s always intrigued me why nobody opens a franchise in the town seeing as there isn’t a Burger King either.”

Jamie Cormack added: “So another KFC but still not Burger King near Horsham or a McDonald’s in town?”

Zoë Rachel said: “Why not a Burger King.”

Victoria Lowe added: “Burger King is the one that should come.”

Vivien Batten said: “I have not had a Burger King in years love them.”

Rob Riley added: “Why not a McDonald’s drive through.”
