Discount scheme for Eastbourne shoppers put back until New Year

A scheme within an Eastbourne shopping area due to launch this week has been postponed until January due to the second lockdown.

Businesses in Victoria Place, the seafront end of Terminus Road, were set to “Happy Mondays” offering exclusive discounts and offers to customers every Monday.

But it has been put back until the New Year after PM Boris Johnson announced the second national lockdown at the weekend.

Businesses taking part include Qualisea Fish Restaurant, HS Diner, Gianni’s, Athens, Toreros, gr/eat Greek deli & cuisine, Belgian Café, Hashtag Hair, Harry Ramsdens, The Beach Hut, Rostick and Nelly’s.

Katerina Tutt from Qualisea Fish Restaurant said, “We are really grateful for all the support from our customers and are excited to be rewarding their loyalty with a series of special offers.

“We want to make coming to Victoria Place really special, particularly during winter. Our fantastic restaurants and shops will be offering everything from cocktails to money off offers every Monday during January.”
