Felpham pub confirms closure with 'deep regret'

After 14 years of serving customers, The Fox Inn, based in Waterloo Road, Felpham Village, will close down after the management team was unable to secure terms for a new lease.

A statement on the pub's Facebook page this morning (Friday, September 11), read: "Unfortunately we can confirm The Fox will be closing shortly.

"It is with heavy hearts and deep regret that we have been unable to secure terms for a new lease that will make running The Fox commercially viable as a tied business particularly in these challenging times ahead.

"We would like to thank all our customers and staff for your supported us over the past 14 years.

"We have meet some wonderful people over the years, many of which we now call friends and had the honour of working with a great team of staff who we consider family."
