Fresh application as burger and beer restaurant looks to move into Chichester

A restaurant chain focusing on burgers and beer has submitted a new application, as it progresses with its plan to move into Chichester.

The company has two sites in Southsea: Bangerz and Brewz and Burgerz and Brewz, as well as Bangerz and Burgerz in Brighton.

In a post on Facebook last week, the company wrote: "Positive vibes from Chichester District Council so far for our South Street project

"We continue to push forward and all being well, we may begin some shop-fit and art works within the next few weeks.

"If it’s safe enough, we’re aiming for an opening date, the week before Christmas. Not sure if that’ll be dining in or just delivery yet but we are super excited for Chichester we’ve some really fun ideas for the menus and shop design."

A planning application was also submitted for the site last month, requesting permission to install an extractor fan. This also included a floor plan which shows nine tables inside.

With this application still awaiting approval from the district council, the company has now applied to put up a new, 'non-illuminated fascia sign'. It has also requested permission to repaint the window frame and front door.
