Ghost hunt fun in Southwick for Hallowe’en

Traders in Southwick Square are all set for Hallowe’en and they have a treat in store for the children.

Following the trick or treat fun for families at last year’s successful Southwick Scare! the shopping parade will be the place to be again this October 31.

Things will be a little different, inevitably, due to Covid-19 but everyone will still be able to join in.

Lindsay Skene, owner of Linden Tree Flowers, said: “Southwick Square is holding a Hallowe’en event similar to last year but to comply with Covid guidelines, we have adapted the trick or treat a little.

“We are doing a ghost hunt, which includes clues that guide the children around the window displays in the square and lead them to a final destination, where they can collect a small prize.

“The shops have already started decorating their windows and they are looking amazing!”

The Southwick Square Hallowe’en Ghost Hunt will be held on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, from 12pm to 4pm.

Start the trail at the community noticeboard and collect the clues to lead you to your final destination, where there will be a prize for every child.
