Horsham barber says reopening is ‘absolutely brilliant’ as customers brave snow to get a haircut

Helen Andreou, owner of Kings Barbers, reopened on April 12 for the first time since before Christmas as lockdown restrictions eased.
And before 9am customers were queuing up outside freezing conditions waiting for their first haircut of 2021.

Hide AdHelen said: “It’s absolutely brilliant to reopen after such a long time closed.
“I’m delighted to see all my customers again after so many months. Hopefully this latest easing of lockdown is the first on the road back to normal life.”
Emma Spires braved the snow to take her sons, Charlie, ten, and George, 12, for a haircut.
She said: “It’s really lovely going through town and actually seeing people get ready top open and seeing some light in the shops.

Hide Ad“There will be more people supporting local businesses after this.”
Charlie said he was feeling good about having his first trim in months. He added: “I wanted to have my haircut.”
Brother George said: “My hair’s way too long.”
Emma added: “Most people I have spoken to say ‘I just want to be able to support [local businesses]’.”
