A major supermarket chain has revealed plans to open a new store in Billingshurst.

Developers Dunmoore Group today, February 24, revealed they have submitted a full planning application to Horsham District Council for a new foodstore at Billingshurst Business Park.
The new store will be occupied by Lidl and will deliver up to 40 new full/part time jobs, a Dunmoore spokesman said.

Hide AdHe added: “ Our work with the local community through a public consultation exercise has revealed a significant level of support for the scheme, with 93 per cent of respondents in favour of the scheme. If planning permission is forthcoming, Dunmoore expect to start development in Summer 2021.”
The developers hope the store will be finished in spring 2022.
