Midhurst business celebrates reopening

C.J. Hampshire, an independent electrical retailer based in Midhurst and Liphook, is fully equipped with hand sanitiser as you walk into the shop, a two-person limit, as well as arrows directing customers around the shop to ensure the safety of others.

Sandra, Mark and other sales team members have been serving customers in the shop. The day finished with the positive outlook that the new shop will be in full swing from Saturday onwards.

A spokesman for the company said: "In light of the current climate, C.J. Hampshire are grateful for the continuous loyal support of our local customers.

"We are proud of our dedicated and experienced sales team who aim to offer a personal and professional service with every customer. With excellent product knowledge and advice, the sales team ensure that every individuals need is met and that you purchase the right appliance for you.

"We are equally proud of our trained service team, most of whom are trained Miele and Liebherr service agents. Our service team will repair appliances either under guarantee, or with the aim of doing their best to repair your appliance as quickly as possible.

"Mark Somerville is the proud Company Director of C.J. Hampshire, who has owned the business for 17 years. The longest running staff member,Sandra Thorpe, has worked here for 43 years through the two business changes."

The reopening of the Midhurst shop was officially certified by Sandra cutting the purple ribbon across the door. The celebration of the reopening was greeted by bottles of prosecco

and takeaway coffee in C.J. Hampshire.
