“Customers can continue to shop with us online and at our nearby stores. For example, our West Green store is a short drive away.”

The Queensway store will close early next year, Sainsbury’s confirmed.

It comes a year after Sainsbury’s announced plans to close up to 15 branches within two years, whilst opening ten new ones over the next five years.
