Worthing estate agent James &d James and mortgage adviser The Options Group offered to help after seeing a video about the cycle project on social media.

We will always help local charities, who need our support more than ever right now, and the OutCycleCancer project felt like the perfect opportunity for us to do just that.
“Getting active is a huge part of my own life and something I’m really passionate about. Covid has prevented so many people from being active but particularly those with long term conditions or going through cancer.
“As soon as I heard about the project, I knew I wanted to help in some way.”
The charity was founded by Jan Sheward in 2012 to help improve the physical and mental wellbeing of people affected by cancer, and support and inspire them to get active in ways that work for them.

Jan said: “When I heard that James & James wanted to donate two brand-new mountain bikes to us for our newly-launched OutCycleCancer project, it seemed as exciting as Christmas morning, not only to know that we were to be given these two beautiful bikes but also that a local business wanted to support a local charity.
“Two organisations with the same ethos, to help the local community and offer the very best benefits and services they can to those who need them, whilst promoting physical activity.
“Getting active is essential for cancer patient recovery, prevention of recurrence and in these difficult times is just as essential for the physical and mental wellbeing of everyone. We are so grateful to James and James for this very generous donation.”
