Coronavirus: Behind the scenes at Eastbourne’s newest vaccination clinic

Up to 1,000 people each day are currently receiving the Covid-19 vaccine at the Sovereign Centre in Eastbourne.

The hub, operated by South Downs Health Care, is inviting patients from seven surgeries in Eastbourne and Seaford for vaccinations against the virus.

The surgeries include Arlington Road Surgery, Lighthouse Medical Practice, Grove Road Surgery, Old School Surgery, Park Practice, Seaford Medical Practice and Seaside Medical Centre.

The opening of the hub in the sports hall of the Sovereign Centre on Sunday (January 24) replaces the clinic which operated out of Hampden Park Medical Centre.
