Demolition underway of Eastbourne pub
Demolition work has begun to knock down an old public house in Eastbourne town centre.
The former Rose & Crown pub in Langney Road at the junction with Bourne Street has been empty for some time and was also known as the Black Sheep pub and the Coda Bar.
Planning permission was granted in 2018 for the building to be knocked down to make way for a four storey building of 10 flats with secure parking and cycle storage.
Demolition work is now underway.
