Due to growing demand in recent years, McIndoe is currently building a new wing to further expand the services it can offer and the number of people it can treat.

"It is an exciting time to be involved with the McIndoe Surgical Centre and I am delighted to be right at the heart of all that is going on," said Kirsty Baker.

"We are a growing hospital and the number of enquiries we have and the number of people we are able to help are continually rising. As the hospital grows we will be able to offer further facilities and treatments for our patients.

"This is a very special year for us. For the last ten years, we have been providing high quality care and procedures for people and that is something we will be celebrating throughout the year," she added.
