Facelift for Martha Gunn

The Martha Gunn pub in Upper Lewes Road, Brighton, has completed a facelift.

The Martha Gunn pub in Upper Lewes Road, Brighton, has completed a fundamental facelift. It has been transformed by Regency Corporation, a local independent pub company. The transformation follows a £265,000 joint investment by Enterprise Inns and Regency, which has six other pubs in the area. The pub is named after Martha Gunn (1726-1815), a well-known Brighton "dipper", who operated bathing machines used by women bathers.
