Family inspiration spawns Toybox

A young ambitious Horsham man has launched a new business specialising in graphic design and marketing.

Toybox was spawned by 22-year-old Chris Rice. The company offers services from re-branding to creating entire marketing campaigns.

“When I started Toybox in 2012, I only had one client who I was working for,” he told the County Times.

“Within three months I had moved onto three loyal clients who continue to return for work.

“Starting the company was a huge step for me, I’ve always been incredibly passionate about graphic design and illustration and I wanted to turn my time and money to something that I want to pursue in the long run.”

Chris draws inspiration from businessmen across the globe, but the closest to home is his brother, Alex, who is studying graphic design at University.

“I personally think that he was the single person who opened my eyes to the entire world of graphic design, and how exciting it can be.”

Speaking of his company’s ‘no job is too big or too small’ ethic, he continued: “I want Toybox to be a fair company, charging fair prices to clients and not quoting silly amounts of money, for work that can be done cheaper.

“Hopefully, this will give clients enough reason to return to us for any future work they have.”

He added: “We don’t sign people up to contracts, and we offer a professional service with incredibly affordable prices.”
