Federation of Small Businesses Christmas breakfast celebration

A sure-fire, popular date in the business diary, the FSB held its Christmas breakfast at the Azur, Marina Pavilion, St Leonards-on Sea. Over 70 businesses attended and were treated to a bacon-turkey alternative (with many taking both!), a beautiful sun-rise over the English Channel and a lesson in festive flower arranging from Lynn Carter, proprietor of Fleur de Lynn florists.

David and Linda Carr Taylor of Carr Taylor Wines in Westfield generously donated a £100 Christmas hamper for the raffle which was won by Laura Dziaszyk of Spotlight on Management. Lynn Carter also offered her sumptuously decorated Christmas ring floral design for second prize to the room .

Colin Slaughter, Events Organiser for the FSB said he was very pleased with the turn out and the Christmas end –of-year atmosphere. Lord Brett McLean, Chairman of the 1066 branch wished everyone a Happy Christmas and a prosperous 2014 business year. With the economy picking up, there was confidence amongst the business owners in the room that this would be the case.
