Will Foster, Partner at Knight Frank, leasing agents for Galleria alongside DTRE, comments: “Galleria has outperformed the local market during a challenging time for the wider economy and is continuing to attract occupier interest. This is due to a combination of quality refurbishment, large bright floorplates, excellent town centre parking and public transport access, and the strong retailing and amenity offer in Crawley town centre.

“We have seen increased rental improvement in recent months and the implementation of NODE technology will be a further differentiator for Galleria, providing greater speed and certainty of connectivity for occupiers, a critical advantage in a fast-moving world. We are sure this will drive further interest to the building and hasten the letting of the remaining space.”

Christian Anderton, Founder of Haida. and Advising Principal at NODE said: "NODE’s commitment to improving fibre specification, responding to modern working practices, recognises the importance of a market-leading connectivity approach to de-risking occupational strategy and supporting asset performance. NODE works with landlords to integrate building improvements and customer service as a means to enhanced returns."

NODE is a specialist advisor that offers asset management led expertise in connectivity. Its retrofit solution allows buildings to benefit from the removal of wayleaves, while providing occupiers with unlimited choice of fibre providers at reduced like-for-like price points. This cuts upfront tenant costs by approximately 70% and contract fees over the term of occupation by up to 50%.

A NODE enabled building creates true resilience and enhances customer experience. Combined with physical cyber security, this removes the reputational and financial risks associated to fibre provision. As buildings become smarter, a resilient managed solution is an operational necessity.
