Generosity of Domestic and General staff

Employees at Domestic and General have given food and gifts to St Anne's Day Centre in Kemptown.

Employees at the Domestic and General contact centre in Brighton have given clothes, toiletries, food and gifts to St Anne's Day Centre in Kemptown.

Fourteen bags of clothes, including hats, gloves, warm jumpers and new items such as underwear, were given to the day centre in St James's Street.

Lawrence Quinn, a Domestic and General employee, volunteers at the day centre and raised awareness of its work among colleagues. He said:  'I'm really overwhelmed at the generosity of everyone at Domestic and General, I never expected we'd collect so many items.'

Employees also gave £300 in cash, which went towards warm cooked meals for those who visited the day centre over Christmas.

Nicki Perry, HR Manager at Domestic and General said: 'I'm extremely humbled that, as a company, we've been able to make a big difference to those within our community who need support.'
