The estate’s field to fork restaurant Farmer, Butcher, Chef, has won Best Restaurant and the Goodwood Estate has been named best Wedding Venue of the Year 2020/21.
Commenting on Goodwood’s success, Entertaining and Hospitality Managing Director, Andrew Coggings said: “Winning awards are always fantastic but this year has been like no other and despite the most difficult of times it feels extra special to have triumphed and we are immensely proud.”

The winners were announced in a virtual event ceremony last night, hosted by Andrew Mosely from The Grand Hotel, Brighton and Fran Downton from Tourism South East. Finalists were awarded gold, silver and bronze in recognition of their achievements.
Tourism South East Chief Executive Fran Downton described many of the winners as “truly world class” and added: “Achieving excellence is not easy particularly in the year we have just navigated, I was blown away by the quality, positivity and innovation of the tourism businesses we have across the South East.
Weddings at the Goodwood Estate and the Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant were picked from this year’s 100 applications. Tourism South East, the organisers of the awards, revealed it had been an ‘unprecedented year’ with entries from across the region.
Previously, Goodwood was awarded two golds – for the Best Business Venue of the Year and Hotel of the Year in the Beautiful South 2019/2020 in a ceremony held at The Grand Hotel in Brighton.
