“Over the years we’ve helped out a diverse range of charities, and are excited to see what requests we get in 2014.”

In the past year Wheelsforgood has helped a wheelchair ballroom dancing team, supported a powerchair football club, funded new BMX bikes for youngsters and helped a number of charities keep their community vehicles on the road.

Simon added: “Donation requests can be for as little as a hundred pounds, right through to a few thousand, as long as the money goes towards a wheel-related cause that will make a real difference.

“I’m sure there are many amazing causes around the UK in search of financial support and we want to hear from them.”
