Horsham buyers are being offered the opportunity to be the first to reserve the home of their choice at The Paperyard by developers Berkeley and Brock Taylor estate agents.

The Horsham First initiative means local people have first access to the new homes and Berkeley is encouraging residents to go along to the event at the Everyman Cinema on Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.

Harry Lewis, managing director at Berkeley (Southern), said: “There are just 62 homes available at The Paperyard, representing a special opportunity for home buyers to secure a stylish new home with luxurious finishes, in an outstanding town-centre location providing great transport links.

“We’re really looking forward to meeting lots of future residents on March 7 and hope we can help them make that first step onto the property ladder!”

Buyers can choose from Manhattan, one and two bedroom homes with designer specification by London designers Johnson Ribolla.

The apartments will feature bright open-plan living spaces, contemporary kitchens and luxuriously designed bathrooms.

Independent financial advisers and solicitors will be on hand at the event, along with Berkeley’s sales team and a number of the team from Brock Taylor to answer questions and to facilitate reservations.

Berkeley is also offering to pay the legal fees entailed with buying a home for anyone who reserves on the day, subject to terms and conditions.

Brock Taylor’s director, Peter Maskell, said: “We are delighted to be involved in this exciting new homes launch and were proud to be chosen by Berkeley Homes as their preferred agent for the event.

“This is a landmark development for Horsham, and offers a great blend of town centre living with outside space and a stunning roof garden, that is creating significant interest ahead of the launch.

“Whether you are a buyer looking to take advantage of the Help to Buy scheme on offer, looking to down size to a high quality town centre development or purchase an investment property, then The Paperyard is an excellent choice.”

Unusually for town-centre apartments, many benefit from private balconies or outside space, while all residents will have access to a roof garden with great views.

The development is a 12-minute walk from Horsham railway station, with its direct service to London Victoria in 50 minutes, while the south coast and Gatwick Airport are a short drive away.

Horsham’s array of independent shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as major retailers, including John Lewis and Waitrose, are within a few minutes’ walk of The Paperyard.
