New business set to open in Eastbourne town centre

A new business is set to open its doors to shoppers in Eastbourne town centre.

The new shop, will soon open its doors as D.M.Z, an army surplus store, offering a variety of clothing and merchandise to shoppers.

Councillor Margaret Bannister, Cabinet Member for Tourism and Deputy Leader of the Council, said: "We are thrilled to see the final unit in Victoria Place occupied. It marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to support businesses at the top end of Terminus Road, each one contributing to the area's economic growth and vibrancy.”

The council added that Victoria Place now offers an ‘inviting route between the seafront and the town centre, enhancing the overall appeal of Eastbourne as a destination for both residents and tourists.’

Councillor Bannister added: “By fostering a supportive environment for businesses and investing in the town's infrastructure, we are driving growth and ensuring a prosperous future for a key area within the town’s retail and hospitality sector.”
