A kiosk on Eastbourne seafront could be replaced with a larger cafe including toilet facilities, if plans submitted to the council are approved.

The documents have been submitted to Eastbourne Borough Council for Carlisle Road Kiosk on King Edwards Parade. According to the design and access document, the existing timber-framed kiosk for drinks and ice-cream would be replaced with a larger cafe with seating and toilet facilities for public use too.

The current site is 19 sq metres and does not include seating or toilets.

The new cafe would be 32 sq metres, the plans say.

Appearance, vehicle access, and landscape will remain unaltered according to the plans.
