New family-run shop opens in Eastbourne town centre

Londis Eastbourne, on Grove Road, is independent and family-run with a number of food and drinks machines like Costa Coffee and Tango Ice Blast, as well as hot and cold food to go.

The store also features goods from local businesses. Pudding by Post supplies the store with homemade puddings and tray bakes, and Lincolns Bakery makes fresh sandwiches for the shop, according to the Londis Eastbourne Facebook page.

Shaji Mathew, the store owner alongside Jincy Francis, said, “Thank you to all customers so far for placing your confidence in us for your shopping needs.

“We are so pleased with how everything is going so far and we will continue as a company to make sure we provide the best customer service to everyone that visits our new store.

“We are confident that with all our new machinery and supporting local businesses, our store will be the place to visit when you are in town. We hope to see you all soon.”
