He added: “In Roger’s memory we are asking for donations to the NHS who cared for him so brilliantly, under difficult circumstances, in his final days.”

He added that he has two other siblings with birthdays around the end of the month.

Peter said: “Together we are holding a birthday fundraiser for the NHS in Dad’s memory.”

In addition to the wonderful care given to Roger, the charity was also chosen because so many family members work in the health service.

Peter’s wife Cherie, his step-mother Sara, and his step-sister Jemma Robinson all work for the NHS - two at East Surrey Hospital where Roger was cared for.

Peter said that RMV Productions was built from a one person operation to a team of six in just four years.

He said the firm has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, most recently the Pet Shop Boys.

Peter added: “Roger lived in Reigate but the business has always been registered and traded from Horsham. He is survived by a wife, six children, 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.”
