The sustainable outdoor clothing brand Finisterre will be opening a Brighton pop-up store after its success in Bath.

Both Finisterre and the people of Brighton have an intrinsic love of water, a connection that makes the store a perfect fit for the new shopping area.

Finisterre’s upcoming autumn range will feature fluorocarbon-free waterproofs, recycled insulated jackets, and a range of knitwear designed to have a low environmental impact.

Located at 1 Hanningtons Lane, the store joins the likes of Brass Monkey and The Flint House between North Street, East Street and Meeting House Lane.

The current lineup also includes Watches of Switzerland, Hotel Chocolat, Habitat, Oliver Bonas, and Humpit Hummus.

More stores are expected to open before Christmas.

Speaking on the new development Andrew Foulds, portfolio director at Redevco said: “We really wanted to create something special at Hanningtons Lane.

“Finisterre’s ethical and exciting approach to clothing is perfect for Brighton and for Hanningtons Lane.”

Finisterre recognises that people and community are at the heart of what they do and invite everyone to meet the team over a coffee or beer at the store’s opening.
