Ellevera opened its doors in the Enterprise Centre on Saturday (October 19), celebrating with a launch party and a goody bag giveaway.
Owner and mother-of-two Tay Robinson said she was ‘so overwhelmed’ by the number of people that stopped by to show their support.
She said: “Saturday was buzzing and all the goody bags pretty much flew out with only a few left that went on Sunday!
"I'm just so happy!”
Ellevera – which is named after Tay’s two daughters – was set up two years ago, starting out with handmade polymer clay jewellery and eventually introducing metal-plated jewellery.
Recently, the brand introduced sister company Vee and Mi, which sells children’s items including cute animal-themed bags, sunglasses, hats and hair accessories.
The shop has also branched out to selling other handmade accessories and homeware – such as mugs, tote bags and trinkets – and stocks baby clothes knitted by Tay’s mum.
Speaking after the shop’s grand opening, Tay said: “There are no words in all honesty.
“My heart is full to the brim with the love and support I have been shown today. I’m just so, so overwhelmed by the love.
"Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen and I’m just so happy.”
Ellevera is already well-established in the local area, with Tay making regular appearances at markets across Eastbourne.
