The Blacksmiths launches 'Our Kitchen to Your Door' delivery service

Owner, Mariella Fleming, explained: “British pubs are known and loved for bringing communities together so while our doors might be closed, we want to carry on doing what we do best and ensure people can still enjoy freshly cooked and wholesome pub meals, to lift spirits and keep our community going.”

All meals are freshly prepared by a team of talented chefs to the highest standards and adhering to the strictest hygiene requirements.

With a passion for produce, only the best quality meat, fish and vegetables are used in all the dishes, supporting as many local suppliers as possible.

The menu includes pub classics as well as soups, salads, puddings and a selection of drinks.

Meals can be ordered as single dishes or in bulk to be heated in a microwave or oven or frozen for a later date. The team are also delivering provisions including fresh bread, pastries, milk and eggs for orders over a certain amount.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive feedback and support so far,” said Mariella.

“It has been heartwarming to hear how our food has helped many people either feeling lonely or those looking for ways to still celebrate anniversaries or birthdays while in isolation. This service is all about supporting one another, and many of our customers have ordered meals to be delivered to a friend, loved one or someone in need.”

With two deliveries a week, the minimum order value is £15 and orders over £50 will receive a complimentary bottle of wine. Covering the whole local area, those living within a five-mile radius of Donnington can enjoy free delivery.
