The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) has announced the further strike action, following other protests recently, due to an ongoing dispute with the government.

FBU members will hold four continuous days of strike until 6pm on Tuesday November 4.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service will still respond to 999 calls, but will have fewer resources available.

During the four day period, the fire service has urged people attending or holding firework displays or bonfires to consider attending a properly organised community bonfire or firework event.
