West Sussex firefighters to strike over pension dispute

Firefighters across the county are to strike for 24 hours from 9am today (Thursday June 12).
The strike is the longest yet in the three-year campaign. Firefighters will strike again over attacks on their pensions after the government confirmed it would implement a new scheme without further negotiations.
Another strike is scheduled for 10am-5pm on Saturday June 21.
