With the help of staff at nearby business EQ, children at The Laurels Primary School joined in a unique celebration to end their time there.

The firm’s graphic designers helped create a digital keepsake, featuring the year-six pupils and their teachers, photographs and personal messages.

Teacher Tom Edwards added: “It’s sad saying goodbye to this incredible year six but this amazing card has given them something to remember us by.”

Often working with schools in the area, EQ is building on its links in the community.

Louise Kirkwood, head of corporate responsibility, said: “Working with our local community is more important than ever and I am really proud that EQ was able to help our local primary school.

“Year six are leaving The Laurels school to venture to high school, which is such a huge milestone and one that will be very different for them as they were not able to spend their last day of school with their friends.

“My wonderful colleagues in our EQ creative team designed this beautiful interactive leavers’ card so they had something the children can share and keep – such important memories.”
