An East Sussex care home team is celebrating after receiving a top-rated score from residents, family and friends on the leading independent review website for the care sector.

The delighted team at Abbots Wood Manor Care Home, London Road, were given the highest possible score, 10, on www.carehome.co.uk, where genuine reviews can only be left by those closely connected with the home, including residents.

Home Manager Helena Barrow said: "We're on top of the world. It's amazing to receive this kind of feedback from the relatives of people who use our home. A very small percentage of care homes receive this score, so it is a wonderful reflection of the service we provide.
