Hastings Runners race raises record amount for hospice

Hastings Runners' flagship Sussex Grand Prix event, the Keith Chandler Memorial Road Race, has raised a record amount of £7100 this year taking the total raised in the event's history to over 72k.

Once again the five-mile race on June 2 proved a superb advert for the club with 130 members taking part and another 45 volunteering.

The club presented Sophie Bailey, Community & Corporate Fundraiser at St. Michael's Hospice, with the cheque at Monday night's track session at Ark Alexandra Academy.
