The first ever ‘Café Bridge’ event in Horsham was a success last Tuesday (17th). Horsham Bridge Club raised over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.

This was part of the national ‘Festival of Bridge’ and the bridge club, with it’s other three festival events, has raised a total of around £3,000 for the charity.

The ‘Café Bridge’ involved 48 enthusiasts, from around Sussex and Surrey, as well as local players, moving round the town playing competitive bridge in nine different cafes and restaurants.
